I Love Wikipedia

Brian!

It’s easy to rag on Wikipedia as an unreliable source. That’s one of my favorite things about it, really. It’s this 24/7 live macroscopic model of quantum mechanics. Light may be a particle or a wave, but you won’t know until the waveform collapses when you observe it. Likewise, Lincoln may or may not have battled dinosaurs to maintain the union — you won’t know until you check Wikipedia.

But I also love it because you can stumble on to things like the Women’s Airforce Pilots Service.

I’m not sure how, but Robo has got to run in to at least one of them. Although I’m loathe to make up people when the real ones were so much more amazing, we’ll probably have to use a fictional WASP. You can never tell who might freak out if you portray their grandmother as a hard drinkin’, hard fightin’, hard flyin’ dame who may or may not have had a romantinc interlude with a robot.
