East Coaster here, just picked up the issue. Great work as usual.

I noticed that in this issue, just like in FCBD 2009, Scott had every panel span the entire width of the page. Coincidence? Or something more sinister…?

What you have noticed is our widescreen approach. We first used it in last year's FCBD story and then all through Volume 2.

I'm still waiting for my copy to arrive in the mail, with eager anticipation.

I listened to that episode of the Nerdy Show and I must say that Brian sounds like a very clever man. I don't mean it to seem like a backhanded compliment, it's always shocking whenever anyone is quick witted, not just Brian Clevinger. For some reason I was expecting a much more Black Mage kind of personality, and I was also getting that same sort of Black Mage vibe from Robo's banter.

I may have to go reread volumes 1 and 2 and try to pick up a different tone this time around.

Finally got it today, although I must say it's partially my own damned fault for ending up in the comicbook store without result. But yeah.

Certainly enjoyed the new comic, although they didn't have the FCBD issue, unfortunately. Maybe when the next issue rolls in, they'll have it for me. It seems "we" get those WAY behind schedule.

We don't know, actually. Diamond may or may not release the issue on May 20th. If they do, that's only about three weeks between issues and it should really be four. We're in wait and see mode.

Oh, speaking of stuff that went FUBAR, I meant to tell you before and forgot: When I got my messed up poster, I sent an email to Splitreason asking what I needed to do to send it back and maybe get a replacement. I got an email back saying that one was being sent to me, and it arrived Tuesday. It is beautiful, and I'm gonna pick up a frame for it tonight.

So, even if there's an issue, Splitreason seems to have GREAT customer service. Though maybe it just seems that way because they're Canadian, and I'm used to dealing with jaded, American retail attitudes.
