Ain’t he sexy?

(More pics here).

Devin has been working on this suit for months and we are all very excited to see it completed.

  • Oh dang, that is ridiculously awesome. How many hours of work did he put into that, I wonder.
  • Go nuts.
  • Ben L.
This suit has inspired me. I make custom action figures. I typically do them of my City of Heroes/Champions creations, but, is is okay for me to make one of Robo?
  • I'm glad to hear that. You know, people keep talking about trying to introduce more "diversity" to comics, but everybody's superheroes are still right around 6'...there's not nearly enough representation for the short folks! I mean sure, there's Wolverine, who shows up in like 30 books a month, but that's a poor substitute.

And this has nothing to do with the fact that I myself am 5'4". Nope...nothing at all...
  • Scott!
Robo is basically Puck from Alpha Flight. =D (Well okay, not that short.)
  • Evil Blarg
    So, did he win? =)
  • Naw, you've talked me up to 5ft 5in.
  • Scott!
@Mike: yeah he's short. Between 5' and 5'4". (Brian and I have differing views on this.) =)
  • @Brandon: You already saw his feet in A Bad Case of Crabs, the back-up story from Volume 2, Issue 1 reprinted in Atomic Robo and the Dogs of War.
  • You know, this is superbly cool to the power of awesome, but I'm strangely reminded of a line from A Christmas Story courtesy of Ralphie's brother, Randy: "ICANTPUTMYARMSDOWN!"
  • Yknow what I wonder?

    What's under those boots?

I mean I presume Robo would have to have some robot feet, but I can't see it o_O
  • That suit looks GREAT! Something I've been wondering, and I don't think I've read it anyplace so far...about how tall is Robo supposed to be? He seems kinda short compared to some of the people he's shared a panel with, but it's kinda hard to tell.
