She-Devils Issue #5 — GET IT! (on 12/12)
The fifth and concluding issue of Atomic Robo and the Flying She-Devils of the Pacific is out today. Here’s a very generous and spoiler-free review, another generous but spoiler-y review, and a five page preview, eh wot!
Grab it at your local shop, or order it online, or download it to your fancy Android/iOS thingies.
We’ve had a hell of a ride with the She-Devils. The best thing about Atomic Robo is that it allows us to jump straight to the most fun stories we have in mind at any time. But the worst thing about Atomic Robo is that means putting your new favorite toys away as soon as you’re used to having them around all the time.
One of the best things about this volume in particular, though, is that it proves how incredibly easy it is not to give the Hawkeye Initiative ammunition.
But that’s not all!
You can also get the Real Science Adventures Vol 1 trade paperback featuring a dozen talented artists tackling 4, 8, and 24 page stories from all over the Atomic Robo timeline. Also an introduction by some jerk. Git it locally, order it online, or grab it for your super future touch screen doohickey.
