Atomic Robo Needs You!

. . .To send him mail at letters@red5comics.com

For over a year now I have been whining about our lack of a letters page. Well Red5 has put up and now I need to shut up.

If you turn to the last page of Atomic Robo 3.4 when it comes out tomorrow you will see that Red5 has added a great little “What’s Going On” page an reprinted what is to date our most awesome piece of fan mail. WE loved that little kid so much that we’re sending him signed copies of the Vol.1 & 2 TPB.

So if you blow our socks off, who knows what might happen?

You don’t even need to write to Brian and I. Send an in-character email and Robo himself, or an appropriate representative from Tesladyne, will respond to you.

The letters page is usually my favorite part of any comic. Help us make this one a success.

Wait, we can send letters in-character, too? I am gonna have FUN with this.

Well, thanks to you guys, I'm going to do something I've successfully avoided doing for over 20 years now. I'm going to write to a damn letter column. I've always told myself I wasn't so far gone if I could just keep myself from being the guy in the letter column.

I hope you're happy…I'm gonna write one this weekend.

I'm actually having a really tough time writing a letter in character, but I feel it must be done!

    Dear Atomic Robo,

    Boxers or Briefs?

    Sincerely,
    Brian F.

Just read #4, and Robo running away is comics greatest moment.

    That is all.

    Dear Atomic Robo:

If the government death panel decided that you have had a good run and that it was now “your time,” how much “violent science” do you think you would need to apply to the panel members before they changed their mind? While I firmly believe that a good swift kick to each panel member's taint of should be sufficient, I would not argue with you if you felt that an RPG colonoscopy was the appropriate, proportional response.

    Your pal,

    Brian M.

P.S. While I am fully aware that the government death panels are a fictional construct of the right wing, since you too are a creature of fiction, I thought you would be the man to ask.

  • http://www.nuklearpower.com Brian!

There's an easy out to this question. The fictional death panels are based on the ludicrous thinking that the government would make it legal to kill the elderly because it's cheaper to kill them than to dedicate medical resources to extending their lifetimes. Robo's healthcare costs are $0.00/year, so he'd never be the subject of one.

    Ha!

  • fanboy_d

nobody should write in out-of-character. ever.

  • Scott!

I hope these questions are actually being emailed to letters@red5comics.com

  • justanotherbrian

    Done. :D

  • Josh_B

    Got mine sent away.

  • explanoite
