  • BenL... Neither do I. Besides, it's not like Robo's missing digit will be noticed, what with that big gun of his.

For the record, mine is still going strong. No issues with thumb or fingers popping off. I'm not trying to rub it in, I just don't want some huge recall for this awesome figure.
  • pheedback
The right thumb on my statue popped off. I assume it was in there. I was walking the statue over and the gun fell off of it. I have not seen where the finger went. I will not be returning it but maybe ordering another one that I won't take out of the box. I think maybe a different company should be used to make the next Atomic Robo statue.
  • Waitaminnit. How come Robo is wearing Tintin's pants?
  • Trimpnick
I also got mine, trigger finger didn't pop off, but I'll try to be gentle with it. It looks better than the photos, it's pretty awesome. Nicely packed too
  • No numbers.
  • motorjed
Hey, did anyone's statue come numbered? Figured with a small(ish) run, there would have been a number on them or at least the box?
  • motorjed
Mine showed up today. Very cool. I am pleased to have robo overseeing my bookshelf with watchful atomic eyes.

Unfortunately, the finger snapped off as I was attaching the gun. Likely a little super glue will take care of it, but kinda sucks to have happen right out of the box.

The statue itself is pretty damn cool, though. Glad I snagged one.
  • jhewlett
Just received mine. Unfortunately the index finger popped off when placing the gun in Robo's hand… nothing a little superglue won't fix.
  • Did it break or something? I've attached and removed the gun several times on mine.
  • Atomic Robo has finally arrived in Australia after seven or so infuriating weeks of cursing my country's remote geography! Mine also had some snapping issues, the gun just would not fit into his hand, it seemed like his belt-pouch was too big to allow it or something. After reading the comments here I tried to ease it into his right hand but his whole hand ended up snapping off! Fortunately it was a very clean break so I was able to superglue it back on with the gun in place - it is holding, but his wrist is sitting a little open, like it wouldn't have fit as it was anyway. Not a big issue but maybe something to consider when the Dr. Dinosaur figure with Time Travel Secret accesory goes into production.. (hint hint nudge nudge please that would be awesome)

Just got mine in the mail...trigger finger is TOO sensitive. Once you put the gun in his hands, DON'T TAKE IT OFF!!! :(
  • Mike
    Thanks, man!

Email was waiting for me when I got home from work:

    ORDER SHIPPED!!

    Now, the waiting...
  • (fixed it for ya, Mike)

That's a pretty cool service, we'll have to think about that.
  • Mike
    Mine's ordered!

This is the second statue I've ordered online in the last week and a half...it's becoming a trend! The other statue I got though was from a place that might be something the Robo crew would be interested in for future statues. It's a site called Patch Together ( www.patchtogether.com ); you put up your statue design, and if enough people vote for it, they'll make it. They then put it up for pre-order, and make as many as people are willing to put up money for. There's a webcomic called Shortpacked! that is trying this out right now (that's the other statue I ordered: http://www.patchtogether.com/store/store/view/i... ), and I know of at least one other webcomic that's used them in the same way.

I bet they could make one badass of a "Warbot in Accounting" statue.
  • Trimpnick
I was waiting impatiently for this! Can't wait to get it in hand!
  • On my Sagan, It's Amazing! Bought mine and considering buying a second to deck out in chrome! If these sell well enough can we at least hope for a larger, jointed, glowy eyes with nazi ass kicking action model?
  • Ben L
While I'm stoked to have this, it makes my custom action figuring seem weak in comparison. I'll have to double my efforts.
  • rscheckel
Other than astromechs (I'm a sucker for R2-D2 repaints!), Robo is the only robot I've ever purchased online. Thanks, fellas!
  • StacMasterS
    ORDER'D!
  • Scott!
    Wataminute! Where's mine!?!
  • Sweet! I ordered mine! I'm a little giddy. :-)
  • Josh_B
Ordered for my brother and myself. Rockin'.
  • motorjed
NICE. Thanks to Splitreason, mine is officially on the way - Destination: the empty shelf space next to my Rocketeer bust. Pretty good company if you ask me.
