Sorry there was no blog yesterday. I had one of those days where I have to actually act like an adult and be responsible for both myself and others. This happens quite a lot actually, but most of the time I’m not fasting while I do it. Started the day by taking my senile father-in-law to the lab for blood work. We showed up ten minutes before they opened and sat around for over an hour. Some stupid new policy where the lab is no longer first-come first-serve, but instead gives preferential treatment to the patients whose doctors actually work in that office. Dad sees a guy who specializes in cranky old people, so we get to wait until everyone has been seen, or someone fails to show up. It seems pretty stupid to me, since you know that Dad’s doctor pays more for the lab services than the in-house guys do. Continue reading

Brian!
Here’s what we’re currently brewing up for you guys.
Atomic Robo and Other Strangeness was changed to Atomic Robo and the Revenge of the Vampire Dimension due to a miscommunication that was 100% my fault. Oops! This is Vol 4, which comes out in February! It’s four very loosely connected one-shots. It’s got vampires, Jenkins, Science Team Super Five (renamed to avoid confusion with Super Go), the rest of the Dr. Dinosaur story, and a super secret nemesis (dun dun dun)!

Brian!
It’s December. Or, as we like to call it, Robo-ember. Robember. Ro…
It’s December! And that means the trade paperback of our third series, Atomic Robo and the Shadow From Beyond Time will go on sale in just couple weeks! As if that’s not enough to blow your gaskets, our first volume, Atomic Robo and the Fightin’ Scientists of Tesladyne, will be available for the first time in a long damn time thanks to a prodigious second printing! So, go get ‘em! And pick up Atomic Robo and the Dogs of War if you haven’t.
Now, while you’re loading up on previous years’ Robo comics, go nuts and pre-order the first issue our next volume, Atomic Robo and the Revenge of the Vampire Dimension! It hits stands in February of 2010, the year The Future officially starts. I hope we’re all still living on the Earth’s surface then or our stories will seem terribly antiquated!
Volume 4 will be our shortest series to date at only four issues. Each issue is a one-shot and together they chronicle what may be the busiest week of Atomic Robo’s life. And, as we’ve been promising since May, one of the issues contains the rest of this story. I really think you guys will get a kick out of this series. It’s got Dr. Dinosaur, the Vampire Dimension, an all new nemesis (Robo’s oldest nemesis), and the debut of… Continue reading
