This is where Scott would usually regale you with tales of the domestic nightmare that is his life, but he’s busy drawing a million pages with The Avengers all over them. Then there’s Vol 5. And maybe this other thing we’re trying to double-team Marvel on.

But never mind all that! Atomic Robo and Other Strangeness comes out this week aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!

Are you excited? I’m excited. Two arch-nemeses, an alternate universe, and a whole other Tesladyne. All that jam-packed into four issues of non-stop sci-fi action! Also? Explosions!

So, okay, what the hell’s happening in my life?

Uh.

Wrapped up the script to my first issue of Captain America: The Fighting Avenger this weekend. I can’t wait to see what Gurihiru cooks up for the art on this thing.

Uh. What else?

Ooh! We got some furniture for the new apartment. Our new place is about twice the size of where we used to live in Orlando. The downside is that we still only have enough stuff for half the apartment. We’ve been here for two months, but other than the bed, TV, and couch, everything’s still in boxes and piles so it looks like we moved in yesterday. Or like we’re weirdo hoarder shut-ins that you’ll see on TV one day. But no more! The furniture will bring order. There will be places to put things that aren’t the floor. I put my underwear in a drawer yesterday. Yessir, we’re livin’ like big city folk now.

Okay, back to work. Boo hoo, I have to write more comics, wah wah waaahhh.

    Looking forward to Other Strangeness this week since I’ve had it on pre-order from amazon for a little while.

    Have you ever read Boilerplate: History’s Mechanical Marvel? Robo has led me to other Tesla related things like that. Christopher Nolan’s The Prestige too.

    While I have your ear (eye), one of these days while you’re walking the halls of Marvel, maybe you could tell Quesada to cut the crap and bring back Steve Rogers as the regular Cap. Unless of course you want to keep writing for them or whatever.

    Steve’s given up the mantle a few times, but he always comes back to it. This’ll be no different. He’s already alive again, so it’s only a matter of time. I’d give it about a year.

    I cant WAIT to get my grubby paws on Other Strangeness! I’ve had it put onto my pull list at my local comic shop since it was in their system! Friday (my pick up day) cant come soon enough! (Any week with Robo is a good week!)
