Come see us at NYCC! Or else!

Brian!

It’s that time again. New York Comic-Con. All your favorite comic book creators will be there! And so will Scott and I!

You can walk by and pretend not to see us at table H4 in Artists’ Alley. Finding it is a bit like Where’s Waldo.

We will have piles of all five Atomic Robo trade paperbacks. We will give them to you in exchange for American dollar bills.

Additionally, Scottwell P. Wegener — freelance artist, pilot for hire, and all around man of action — will draw things at your request. You’ll have to put down 40 bones for ‘em, though, this mercenary of the skies ain’t a philanthropist! Mayhap you want to pre-order a sketch?

There will also be T-shirts — different from the ones you see here! Posters too. You can also buy some stuff that won’t be at NYCC and bring it for us to sign. Or bring stuff you already have to get signed. We don’t mind.

The point is: get ye to NYCC. It’s a hell of a show and we hope to see you there!

HeroesCon

Scott Wegna

So we survived yet another convention. It was a blast -just like every year. As usual, my ability to figure out what will sell and what won’t at a con was totally stymied. I could have left my 60lb suitcase full of t-shirts at home. I was thinking the same about the heavy portfolio that I drag around, because no one ever buys anything from it -until some guy walked up to my table ten minutes before I left on Sunday and bought a cover.

I give up. Continue reading

See you In Charlotte

Getting ready for HeroesCon. I leave stupid-early tomorrow morning. I am running around like a chicken with its head cut off. After searching YouTube for a funny video of a headless chicken to show you I am also slightly nauseous. And temporarily vegetarian.

Finally got to hang out with some of the comic/webcomic cats from Brooklyn. It was a million degrees out, but I had a really good time. Very nice bunch of people. L was absolutely the coolest.

I guess I am close enough to say that I’m almost half way through Robo 6.2. If I can get some good work done today in between last minute errands, appointments, and packing I will be able to relax at Heroes.

Most likely I will just be mildly anxious the entire time. :P

See you guys next week.
