Survived ConnectiCon

So just a quick check in after CC. Once again they gave Brian and I a room with only one bed and, once again, the hotel was packed with con goers, so there was no way to get another room. You’d think after four years they would change whatever note they’ve got in their records and replace the number 1, with the number 2, in the “Beds” column. Maybe they just see the love that Brian and I have been desperately fighting all these years, and are doing their part to bring us together in ways that only a man, and another man, can come together.
Or maybe they’re just dumb in the head.

Okay, super-quick check in.
We had a good show in Charlotte. Heroe’s is awesome. It wasn’t as insanely busy as last year, but we kinda had a less than ideal spot way at the back of Indie Island. But we stayed busy enough, so I’m not complaining.
Sitting with Sara Richard was fun, and an education. I’ve often wished I had some sort of cool-factor, good looks, exceptional talent, or even just a pair of breasts that I could flash at passersby to get myself a little attention at shows. Sara’s got all these things -though in no way used her girlie bits to draw in business, as I would. If I had some dude-teats. Which . . .man this got weird…

Sorry for the lack of posts. Getting ready for Heroes, and the 200 mile right after that, have kept me pretty busy. There won’t be a Monday Blargh! post from me next week. I can tell you that right now! =)
But if you really need a Team Robo fix you should come down and say hey to Brian and me this weekend in disgustingly hot and steamy Charlotte NC, where the weather sucks balls, but the people are the best. Last year was my first time at Heroes and I loved it. It’s a fairly big show with a very down home small con feel to it. Unlike the massive spectacles that are NYCC (this October!) and SDCC, things are mellow enough at Heroes that we can actually hang out and shoot the breeze with folks.
Hope to see some of you there!
