Brian!
What the hell have we been up to? Uh, good question. I wrote a bunch of stuff for a video game. Yay! But not Robo-related. Boo! But maybe something you’d be interested in if you’re a video game kinda person. Yay? It’s weird. This is the first time in a long time I haven’t had a huge impending deadline worrying me every waking moment of the day. And now that it’s out of the way my every idle moment is filled with nervous dread because holy shit aren’t I supposed to be doing something. Oh, I already did it? Are you sure! Luckily there’s a couple Marvel projects to take care of this month, so that ought to keep things hectic enough to calm me down.
Scott’s still plugging away on the art for that Avengers comic. After that it’s full speed ahead on the rest of Vol 5: Atomic Robo and the Deadly Art of Science. Speaking of which, I’ve still got to write up the last issue! P.S. don’t forget to pre-order the first issue. Or the second!
Hey, hey! The third issue of The Avengers and the Infinity Gauntlet comes out Wednesday! Please run out and pick it up. Or at least pick up another crazy title like it. Doing so is the only way to convince The Big Two that endlessly regurgitated NO SERIOUSLY THIS ONE’S SO IMPORTANT WATCH OUT stories are actually kinda terrible. Oh hey, a preview!
Let’s see, what else. Oh yeah, a little Fallout fanfilm I helped write is nearing completion. Here’s the trailer! Oh, the final product will have dialog. That may or may not increase your interest.
Don’t forget to come see Scott and I (and I guess some other people) in North Carolina November 13th and 14th!
And with that, back to work.

Brian!
First of all, thanks to everyone who came to see us at NYCC this weekend. It was the best, busiest, craziest show we’ve done in ages and you guys made that possible. The only chance I had to get away from the table was to find us some lunch each day. The rest of the time? You folks were trampling us. Scott’s sketch list was as long as his arm. Which kept him quiet, so thank you!
One thing has become very clear in light of the show. We’ve got to come up with some Action Librarians.
For those of you who are new to the site, check out our free online comics, our promises to you, and some easy ways to buy Atomic Robo.
Next look for us at the North Carolina Comicon November 13 – 14th.

Brian!
Scott and I will be at the New York City Comicon Oct 8 – 11th!
For reals! Look, there’s even a banner.
We’ll be in ARTISTS’ ALLEY at TABLE E2. Come and see us! We’ve got Atomic Robo Vol 1 – 4 trades and T-shirts for sale and I think buttons for giving away. You can buy original art and sketches from Mr. Wegener and watch me be useless!
We’ll be signing at the Midtown Comics table Saturday from 5 to 6pm!
See you there, folks!
Scott here, (for the first time in weeks!). I am really looking forward to this. This is my third year going to NYCC, but it’s my first where I’ve actually got a table in Artist Alley. This show just gets bigger and bigger, and this year it’s merged with New York Anime -very cool.
There is a free NYCC App that you can get on your Google or iPhones to help you navigate the show and there should be floor maps up on the NYCC website. I’d like to say I’m looking forward to relaxing for a few days, ’cause I feel like I’ve been going all-out since HEroesCon back in June. But chances are good that if you swing by our table you’ll see me working on the new cover for Atomic Robo Vol.2, 2nd printing. The first printing is just about sold out -super cool!
My avengers project is cranking along, and so is Robo Vol.5. But together they keep me busy six or seven days a week. I can’t wait until I can relax a little -which should be mid-January. =(
