. . .Yet surprisingly, most people seemed to like the Terror Bird story. Brian and I have known for a year now that when we released the Dr. Dinosaur story in 2009 that what we’d really done was set ourselves up for criticism this year. Yet, for the most part, I’ve been getting nothing but positive reviews of Atomic Robo & The Flight of The Terror Birds. I hope everyone had a great FCBD this year. If your store ran out of Red 5′s offering, fear not, for we shall put the Robo story online…uh…soon! Somewhere in May probably.
My signing at Dragon’s Lair down in Austin was probably the best one I’ve ever done. Just a fantastic crowd. Very receptive, very hip. Uh, for nerds. anyway, thank you, everyone who came out. New fans, old fans, young fans, you guys make the world go round. Well. Our little comic book world anyway.

Sorry guys. I’m a little overwhelmed and I kind of forgot all about the blog. Like a car that is buried by the municipal snow-plow, I can get my motor running, but I can’t seem to get moving. I’m a little overwhelmed with all the things I need to get done before we move in June. The “POD” is reserved. Now we just have to start getting rid of all the crap that won’t fit in it. I see yard sales dominating our weekends in May. I haven’t been down to NYC to work on the attic art studio in many, many weeks. Number 3 Son got the rewiring job done, but as I predicted, this project involved one step forward, and three steps backwards. Continue reading
