Brian!
You can pick it up locally or at a variety of online
shops.
“Ghostbusters, Indiana Jones, Buckaroo Banzai, and The Rocketeer crammed into Nikola Tesla’s robot with pants. THAT is Atomic Robo! This volume features a young Robo in the 1930s teaming up with badass vigilante Jack Tarot to stop a mad scientist from blowing-up Manhattan! This book is what happiness feels like.” – Aaron Haaland whom I just realized has like a thousand As in his name.
Are you one of the poor slobs who never read Atomic Robo? Then what the hell are you reading this site for?! Y’damn screw up. Fix yourself by starting with Vol 5! Every single volume stands alone and they can be read in any order. Vol 5 is something of an origin story anyway, so it’s one of the better places to start.

Brian!
Mailbag time!
You mentioned before each story needs to contain three acts. The issues themselves within each story also need three acts, correct?
This is where I’m running into some problems. I’m having difficulty finding ways to break the story into multiple scripts (3 to 5 issues per volume) while still maintaining three acts per issue. Any advice you can give me on this would be greatly appreciated.
Three act structure is one of those things that’s incredibly simple but can be hard as hell to wrap your brain around when you’re just starting out. It’s so pervasive it becomes difficult to notice. You can intuitively sense its absence as a kind of clunkiness. But merely being aware of when it’s not there doesn’t necessarily help you to create three act arcs of your own.
The trick is to realize: it’s three acts all the way down.

Brian!
Diamond is finally going to release the last issue of Volume 5 – May 4th! Order it online or at your local shop. Or else!
But wait, there’s more!
The trade paperback collection of Volume 5 will come out in July along with the second printing of Volume 2!
Then!
We follow that up with the first issue of Atomic Robo and the Ghost of Station X in August.
Meanwhile!
We’re working on an Atomic Robo anthology series. It’ll be six issues of short stories we’ll never find the time or place to tell otherwise. This is in addition to the “main” series, so it will not interrupt your regularly scheduled dose of Volume 6. We hope to have the first issue coming at you guys in the Fall!
